Safeguarding Our Churches
10am - 3pm @ FBC St. Petersburg

This training will discuss principles of safety and accountability in church communities as well as practices and policies of safety for our communities. We will discuss the prevalence data around abuse to children related to faith communities and topics for conversation to keep children and vulnerable people safe. The training will conclude with information on mandatory reporting and how to respond to known offenders joining or attending a church.
We believe that the safety of children is paramount to the work of Christ (Mark 9:42).
