The Importance of Collaboration in Ministry

Of all the things that we can celebrate partnership and Collaboration in Ministry is without a doubt one of them.

From November 3 -7 a team of 8 brothers and sisters from CBF Virginia, including SRC Mark Snipes joined CBF Florida ASRC in Puerto Rico. This team worked hard at Church Of Celada ñ in Gurabo Puerto Rico and accomplished what seemed impossible.

Together with pastor Carmen Waleska Lebron, Nelson Maldonado ( Church property Manager) Milagros Castro ( Church of Celada board president) and a group of hard working volunteers; the week turned into a fulfillment of a dream.

The Church of Celada needs to repair their roof, which was several damage with hurricane María back in 2017.

This is an extremely expensive project and even when the church doesn't have the means for this, with the collaboration of CBF Virginia, the front part of the roof is now ready to be sealed.

This congregation will continue to place buckets to collect the water coming from the roof in other parts of the structure but they will not stop praying, worshiping nor serving their community.

Additionally; this fantastic team was able to sand, tint and varnish all the 30 churches pews and paint the parking lot.

All of this in just 3 days! Miracles happen when collaboration, partnership , love, commitment and intentionality combine to do God's work as we serve one another.
